Affililorama is the bomb

I have just started to build my first Affilorama site. Having spent the past year working with WordPress, Tickets and Ebay PN, I am now going to focus on the AffiloBluePrint. My first site is about how you can get six pack abs.The site is about weight loss and six pack abs techniques and promotes fitness and and weight loss information.

No More Gurus

Ok, I have got my stuff sorted out.
I am making about 4k profit per month with Ebay Partne Network, on about 4 sites. This is excellent, but I think i am extracting as much as i can out of that method. It relies pretty much on a single traffic purcahse method and single vendor, so it is at risk at any time. Hs been exellent Jan 2009 to May 2009.

But I need a long term option to develop a robust and reliable option for making money on line.

Mark Link's AffiloBluePrint is an altogether comprehensive approach to making affiliate money. It is awesome. Will provide more details as we go.

$98 in affiliate sales this month

Ok, I have been very distracted with one of my blogs www.concert-ticket-deals.net/Over the last three weeks. Concert ticket sales: its a niche I chose earlier in the month, found a great affiliate provider 12.5% of sales, and started the blog. i then built a weebly site, which I found so good to build that I made it the main sales site, with links to the affiliate site.

I then built a strategy around writing one article, spinning it into 200 different versions, and using about 10 versions of each article onto...the main site, the blog, ezinearticles, the wordpress blog, squidoo page, hub page, goarticles, another article site, usfreeads, etc. Each article post or article is autopinged, or socialmarked.com

It is a multi-pronged approach using similar content, pointing to the main sales site that points to the affiliate site.

The beauty of this is that each article, spun 10 times, with social marking, can get at least 100 possibly up to 250 backlinks!!! Depending on how many you social bookmark. It is all about link juice. Te real beauty of this is that the links build and build over time. The product changes - this week it is Tina Turner and Madonna. Last week it was Neil Diamond and The Police. But the links will stay, even though you move onto promoting another product

So in 3 weeks of concentrating on www.concert-ticketdeals.com I have have retail sales of $800 with affiliate commission of $98.

Get organised - control your niches!

So you are going to be building 4 or 5 or more sites. You need to get organised in terms of passwords, affiliate links, linking sites, tools used, articles written, articles edited etc.

The best way is to set up a spreadsheet, Ive valled mine "Directory of sites" and I have a tab for each site. Each site has the following information on it:

Site URL
Title
Hosted
domain registered
Admin site
Login
Password
Keywords
Press Release
Directory submitter
Article Submitter
Squidoo Dashboard
Article One completed
Blog
DP-Kumar links
DMOZ directory
webring
List of Directories
http://www.socialmarker.com/
CJ PID

You will see I have hot linked most sites - so it is easy to get to the article sites or the directories etc

Content is king

Our goal is to develop a series of niche sites, that are optimised for the search engines, have some great products attached to them, and can obtain some adsense revenue.,

Of critical importance is the development and posting of quality content. There is a number of reasons for this emphasis on content.

Firstly it is the content that defines your site - it is the content that IS your site - not the ads, not the affiliate links or sign up page or graphics or anything else. It is the content that will attract repeat visitors, will convince them of your credibility, and most of all it is the content that will ENTERTAIN, INFORM and PROVIDE a SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM.

Secondly, keyword dense (not overly dense) content will be SE friendly, and the bots at Google place high importance on fresh, original content, content that supports your titles, headings and domain name. Good content, based around your keywords, will help your search rankings and relevance.

The third reason good content is important, is for this $100-a-day campaign, your posts become the basis of your soon-to-be-commenced article writing campaign. Each post, or each decent post, will be re-manufactured in a week or two's time (depends on how much time you have) as quality articles to be blasted to a number of article directories, as promotion for this site.

For example, once I feel as though I have some decent content on this site, and i am ready to start the promotion at full tilt, I will write an article based on this blog post. All the spelling and punctuation is tidied up. The article might be called - "$100 a day on Blogger - article marketing strategy". I will use jetspinner to create 10 or 20 different versions of this article. Then i will post a different article to the top 10 articles sites (ezinearticles.com, goArticles.com etc) and then one article I will put in my directory submitter and automatically submit it to another 100 article directories or so.

So, the one quality post becomes excellent content on the site that I am developing. That post is reworked into a general article, put through the jetspinner magic and comes out as 11 different articles, 10 of which are submitted to the top article directories, and one sent off to 100 other directories. One article serving 112 purposes! One great post leading to 111 backlinks driving traffic to your niche site!!

Choose your Niche

There is so much information available online to learn about "niche marketing". Our simple definition of niche marketing is choosing a topic or special interest or "niche" that you can build your site around and monetise.

Our objective here is to:

  1. Develop an interesting site, with engaging material
  2. Focus on developing quality, original content, and lots of it
  3. Attract lots of traffic by the quality of information
  4. Have people follow links from the blog to advertising or related products gaining an affiliate commission.
So the niche you choose has to be something you can
  • write often about
  • write with originality
  • write with some authority.
There are other considerations is choosing a niche, which I will go into more detail later. But they include:

  • choosing high paying keywords
  • long tail keywords, with small defined market vs large markets with highly competitive keywords
  • preferred or high paying affiliate schemes

Pillar post one: Here's the challenge....Here's the overview...

Ok, here's the challenge....to make $100 a day using blogger. Can it be done? Well, most IMers, bloggers and forum sharks seem to think that a full hosted, fully customisable web based option is the only way to go.

Well, I beg to differ - sure the benefits of a hosted option are clear, but that doesn't mean that it cant be done on Blogspot!! In fact, I am convinced that there are some real benefits from Blogger, whish I will outline as we go along.

As the great Australian band My Friend the Chocolate Cake states in its inspirational opus..."Ive got another plan, this time it will work!!...", I have to admit that I have a plan... and this time it will work!!!

As the weeks unfold I will share with you some of things that I have learned in the blogosphere, and how I can get to a stage where blogging can offer a reasonable second income. What is reasonable? Often the $100 a day is the magic respectable number, $3000 a month, $360oo a year, that brings about a respectable look to your ventures. But reasonable is your own definition. Lets shoot for $100 a day.

We will be starting from scratch, and I will detail the strategy in regular posts, and plug you in to all the information, links and resources you need.

An overview of the strategy, that will be outlined in detail is:

  1. Choose 4 or 5 niches that you can easily write regularly about.
  2. Create a blog for each niche.
  3. Begin by regularly creating unique and interesting content.
  4. Monetize the site.
  5. Our aim is to deveop about $5 a day from Adsense or text ads and $15 to $20 a day from affiliate products.
  6. The traffic generation will come from regular social book marking and article marketing.
  7. We will start small, and not expect that it will all be working well in 1 month or 3 months even six months time.
  8. We will review the strategies, and adjust accordingly, hoping to learn and refine what we do.
i hope you enjoy the journey.
