Pillar post one: Here's the challenge....Here's the overview...

Ok, here's the challenge....to make $100 a day using blogger. Can it be done? Well, most IMers, bloggers and forum sharks seem to think that a full hosted, fully customisable web based option is the only way to go.

Well, I beg to differ - sure the benefits of a hosted option are clear, but that doesn't mean that it cant be done on Blogspot!! In fact, I am convinced that there are some real benefits from Blogger, whish I will outline as we go along.

As the great Australian band My Friend the Chocolate Cake states in its inspirational opus..."Ive got another plan, this time it will work!!...", I have to admit that I have a plan... and this time it will work!!!

As the weeks unfold I will share with you some of things that I have learned in the blogosphere, and how I can get to a stage where blogging can offer a reasonable second income. What is reasonable? Often the $100 a day is the magic respectable number, $3000 a month, $360oo a year, that brings about a respectable look to your ventures. But reasonable is your own definition. Lets shoot for $100 a day.

We will be starting from scratch, and I will detail the strategy in regular posts, and plug you in to all the information, links and resources you need.

An overview of the strategy, that will be outlined in detail is:

  1. Choose 4 or 5 niches that you can easily write regularly about.
  2. Create a blog for each niche.
  3. Begin by regularly creating unique and interesting content.
  4. Monetize the site.
  5. Our aim is to deveop about $5 a day from Adsense or text ads and $15 to $20 a day from affiliate products.
  6. The traffic generation will come from regular social book marking and article marketing.
  7. We will start small, and not expect that it will all be working well in 1 month or 3 months even six months time.
  8. We will review the strategies, and adjust accordingly, hoping to learn and refine what we do.
i hope you enjoy the journey.
